In today’s episode LowCountry Gold Founder Dave Douglas and I discuss CBD and the multitude of benefits like chronic pain relief, anxiety, depression, sleep, focus, mood and more.

LowCountry Gold Founder Dave Douglass’ road to growing and producing organic CBD on his 120-acre farm in Elloree, SC started in a hospital bed. While recovering from major surgery, Dave’s lifelong commitment to easing the burden of others kicked in. By crafting a truly quality product, LowCountry Gold has been helping folks all over the country with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, sleep, focus, mood and more since its founding in 2020.

Dave honed his business chops managing his dad’s casino in Reno, as well as his own in Colorado. Eventually, he would move into real estate and education. He’s a licensed Montessori teacher and helped create Charleston’s largest private Montessori school system- Sundrops. Add in earning both his pilot and sailing captain’s licenses, visiting six continents and raising six children, four of which are adopted from Kazakhstan, and you have a tip-of-the-iceberg view of LowCountry Gold’s founder.

Threaded between the varied experiences is Dave’s calling to help others and make their lives a little more special. CBD customers will see this play out like an anthem in how LowCountry Gold operates. Product testing results are regularly posted online and the farm is annually inspected to uphold its USDA-organic certification. The end result is fantastic, South Carolina-made CBD tinctures, balms and gummies, of which Dave has complete seed-to-shelf oversight.
